Director of Patient Safety & Quality

Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight to the Infection Prevention Program, ensuring surveillance, problem resolution, and mandatory reporting.
• Collaborate with leaders to implement changes that enhance clinical quality and safety, leveraging evidence-based practices.
• Develop a robust Patient Safety Culture using High-Reliability Organization (HRO) principles.
• Drive physician engagement in quality initiatives and ensure transparent reporting and shared learning.
• Manage department budgets and resources, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree (Required).
• Master’s Degree (Preferred).
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) (Required).
• Six Sigma/Lean Certification (Preferred).

Experience:

• 5 years in a clinical healthcare setting focused on quality and safety.
• 2 years in leadership roles.
• Expertise in clinical operations, performance improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Compensation: Up to $3,000 per week (Negotiable). Travel/housing expenses considered.
