Job Description :
The Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) will be a part of Amazon’s Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team, providing first aid, assessing injuries, and supporting safety operations at Amazon’s workplace. This role involves daily engagement with associates, assessing both occupational and non-occupational injuries, and referring to external providers when necessary. The position also includes maintaining records, supporting workers’ compensation programs, and participating in training.
Responsibilities :
- Administer first aid and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
- Maintain and manage records of care provided.
- Engage with associates and leadership on safety matters.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and emergency response.
- Assist with random drug testing and maintain certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
