Responsibilities and Requirements
This 17-week contract role involves supporting our client's medical facility in Bonham, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Rooming patients, taking vitals, and charting
- Assisting physicians with patient care
- Performing daily e-fax submissions of referrals, records requests, and home health orders
- Completing and answering daily calls to update patients on lab results and medical needs
- Daily chart prep and lab request
The ideal candidate must possess prior medical office experience, E-Clinical Works knowledge, and active certification as a Medical Assistant. Additionally, they should have a minimum of two years of work experience and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
