Position Overview :
Pride Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to join our healthcare team. This is a 36-hour per week, 13-week contract position offering guaranteed hours. Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a liaison between the Director of Nursing (DON) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) personnel.
- Supervise nursing activities, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to physician orders and hospital practices.
- Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and overtime. Assist with hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions in coordination with DON / CNO.
- Conduct staff evaluations and assist with recruitment.
- Help develop policies and procedures and stay updated on changes in accreditation and licensing requirements.
- Manage the SNF nursing budget.
- Maintain positive relationships with medical staff, administration, and other hospital departments.
- Assist with the orientation and education of new nursing staff.
