Job Title: IT Project Manager

Pay rate: $50 to $55/hr on W2
An experienced IT Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Electronic Medical Records (EMR)/Patient Care system at Charter House, a Continuous Care Retirement Community. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between internal IT teams, IT Clinical Project Services, Charter House Leadership, the vendor, and the Management Company to ensure a seamless transition from MyUnity to Point-Click-Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of the Point-Click-Care EMR system, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams, IT Clinical Project Services, Charter House Leadership, vendors, and the Management Company to coordinate all project phases.
- Manage communication across multiple organizations and complex organizational structures.
- Develop and oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for successful implementation.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure smooth integration of the Point-Click-Care system within existing long-term care workflows.
- Work independently, quickly adapting to organizational structures and management processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with healthcare technology in long-term care settings.
- Hands-on Point-Click-Care EMR system implementation experience.
- Strong track record of managing EMR transitions in healthcare environments.
- Experience coordinating across organizations with complex structures.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a comparable certification from a nationally recognized project management body (or the ability to obtain within three years of hire).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with Life Care Services (Management Company).
- Candidates within driving distance to Rochester, MN, preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with IT systems and processes in a healthcare setting.
Additional Details:
- Open to Project Manager (PM) or Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) status.
- Potential for site visits, though not routine.
