Pride Health is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee operations at a leading healthcare facility in Macon, GA. This is a direct hire opportunity for a dedicated professional ready to lead a dynamic team and ensure quality lab services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory analyses to provide critical clinical information for diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in daily operations.
- Manage lab inventory, maintain reagents, and minimize departmental waste.
- Monitor and resolve testing system issues and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee compliance with CAP, TJC, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate lab staff performance.
- Participate in the development and revision of policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Certification: ASCP-registered Medical Technologist or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to patient care excellence.

- Location: Macon, GA 31201
- Job Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Pay Range: $40.84 - $61.26/hour (based on experience)
