PRIDE Health is seeking a local contract Medical Lab Scientist for a local contract job in Portland, Oregon.

Shift : 4x10 Nights
Description : Responsibilities are interchangeable within job titles of medical laboratory scientist (MLS), medical technologist or clinical laboratory scientist. Work environment / department will be listed in requirement.
Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements. Minimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required. State Medical Technologist license may be required (will be listed in requirement if its needed).
ASCP or AMT certification is either required.
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen. Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
Additional Comments / Requirements Medical screening requirement : Color Vision Screening, TB Screening
Vaccine requirement : Flu and Hep B - declination is accepted for both
Schedule : Night shift 9PM - 7 : 30AM 4 X 10AM[training on first shift for two to three weeks then transferred to nights]

Blood Bank experience is preferred
