Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Clinic Discipline : RN Start Date : 03 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 17 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Responsibilities : ✅ Triage and Patient Preparation – Assess and prioritize patients based on approved protocols, ensuring smooth appointment flow and efficient care delivery. Patient Education and Follow-Up – Provide clear instructions on self-management, communicate test results, and follow up to ensure adherence to care plans. Clinical Documentation – Accurately document all patient interactions, treatments, and procedures in the electronic health record (EHR) on time. Medication and Test Management – Process prescription refills and order diagnostic tests per standing orders while adhering to practice policies. Care Team Collaboration – Support the clinical team by acting as a resource, precepting new staff, and maintaining open communication with regional management. ⚖️ Regulatory Compliance – Stay up to date with OSHA, CLIA, and coding regulations while adhering to infection control and patient safety protocols. Required Qualifications : Connecticut State RN License ❤️ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Over 1 year of experience Additional Information : Location : Wallingford, Connecticut (Local contract) ⏳ Job Type : 17-week contract. Possible extension Schedule : Monday to Friday – 07 : 30 am to 06 : 00 pm Pay Range : $35.00 to $50.00 per hour Float Details : Work Locations : Wallingford, Meriden, Hamden, Prospect, CT ️ Travel Requirements : Travel is required approximately 25% of the time, with potential for same-day travel to multiple locations based on operational needs.
