Pride Health is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support our client’s medical facility based in Charleston, SC. This Travel opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT scans in both stationary and mobile units, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
- Operate Siemens equipment and maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols, including the use of agency-provided radiation badges.
- Collaborate with medical teams in a Level 1 trauma center, following all safety and quality standards.
- Maintain certifications and licenses, including BLS, NMTCB, or ARRT credentials, and adhere to hospital policies regarding scheduling and emergency preparedness.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience with Nuclear Medicine
- Preferred experience with Trauma Level 1 and 2
- Experience with Siemens
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board for Nuclear Medicine Technologists - NMTCB(N) – or Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine Technology - ARRT(N)
- Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board for Computed Tomography - NMTCB(CT) - or Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology or Computed Tomography - ARRT(R) or (CT)
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association – SCRQSA in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
