Job Title- Patient Service Representative
Location- Tampa, FL 33617
Duration- 6 Months possible extension
Pay Range- $18/hr. - $19.61/hr.
Shift- 9 AM – 5 PM (M-F)
Duties
- Responsible for triaging inbound calls from healthcare providers while ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Assisting Health Plan Customers with inquiries regarding; Member benefits and eligibility, claim status verification, and assisting with questions related to health plan claim processing requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer contact, communicate effectively with customers, maintain confidentiality, and maintain good working relationships with co-workers.
- Standard computer programs used in the department: Epic.
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
- A high school diploma with some college-level coursework is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service is required.
- A strong background in call center, medical, and insurance is preferred.
