Pharmacist

Pride Health is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract at a healthcare facility in Plymouth, MA. This is a great opportunity for experienced Pharmacists to work in a fast - paced healthcare environment while gaining valuable experience.

Position Details:

• Job title: Pharmacist (on-site)
• Location: Plymouth, MA 02360
• Start Date: 04/21/2025
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days (7am - 3:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Travel Pay: $2,800/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and verify medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols.
• Perform aseptic compounding and preparation of IV medications per USP 797/800 guidelines.
• Utilize EPIC Willow/Beacon to monitor medication therapy, optimize dosing, and prevent adverse drug interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage high-risk medications for critically ill patients.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
• Provide drug information and counseling to healthcare providers and patients as needed.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.

Education:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy

Experience:

• 5 years inpatient experience.

Certifications & Skills:

• Pharmacist License for the state of MA.
