Pride Health is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week travel contract at a respected healthcare facility in Gainesville, FL 32614. The ideal candidate will bring strong acute care experience and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, hospital-based pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify all medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety.
- Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile IV admixtures, following established protocols.
- Provide drug information and clinical support to physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state/federal regulations, and medication safety standards.
- Support inventory control and maintain accurate medication records.
- Educate patients and staff on drug therapies as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) – Required
- Experience: 2 years of acute care experience – Required
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) – Required
- Active Florida Pharmacist License – Required
- Proficiency in IV admixture and unit dose dispensing systems preferred
- Must be able to work independently and handle high-acuity cases

- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 3:00PM-11:30PM Monday–Friday/ 40 hours per week
- Pay Range: $45 - $55 per hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
