Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist-PSC Greeter to support our client’s medical facility in Naples, FL. This is a 4 month with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Phlebotomist PSC Greeter

Location: Naples, FL 34120

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18/hr. on W2.

Shift: Mon - Fri 6:00am-2:00pm

Duration: 4 Months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients of all ages.

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner. Help patients with kiosk sign-ins and ensure accuracy, as well as respond to customer inquiries and handle phone calls by following company protocols.
• Contact clients to obtain patient orders, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
• Read, understand, and follow departmental policies, protocols, and procedures, including the Procedure Manual, Safety Manual, Compliance Manual, Employee Handbook, and Quality Assurance Manual.
• Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, faxing, mailing, and data entry. Assist with stocking supplies and completing special projects as assigned by supervisors or managers.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and test translation tables. Complete all required training and report any customer complaints according to established protocols.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment by adhering to attendance guidelines, following company policies, and supporting Quest Diagnostics' values.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and perform bending/kneeling tasks.
• Lift up to 25 lbs, carry up to 15 lbs for several minutes.
• Constant visual attention to detail, effective communication (spoken and written).
• Pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting involved.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Medical terminology knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and make decisions based on procedures.

Key Skills: Data entry, clerical, receptionist, medical customer service, and strong command of the English language.
