Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Senior Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Portsmouth, NH 03801.This is a Full-time contract of 4 months with possibilities of extension or conversion to permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Shift: Mon - Fri 8:00 Am to 5:00 Pm

Duration: 4 months Contract with possibilities of extension / Conversion to full time

Pay Range: $20 - $24/ hour based on experience
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience with drawing blood, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
Collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures.
Explaining the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.
Demonstrating technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
At least 2 Years of experience in drawing bloods
