Overview:
A facility in Eden, TX is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and developing individualized treatment plans to help patients regain movement, reduce pain, and enhance their physical function. This position involves working with both outpatient and swing-bed patients, providing therapeutic support in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on each patient's goals.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and treatments, adapting techniques as necessary to accommodate various patient conditions.
- Provide hands-on treatment and guidance to facilitate recovery and improve functional mobility.
- Monitor patient progress, make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, and document all outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and methods to maintain or improve physical health.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of recent physical therapy experience, preferably with travel experience.
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Valid Texas state physical therapist license.
- Verification of physical therapist certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating independence in clinical decision-making.
