Radiologic Technologist

Pride Health is hiring an Interventional Rad Tech to support our client’s medical facility based in Waterloo, IA. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

• Location: Waterloo, IA - 50703
• Job Type: Contract
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Specialty: Interventional Radiology
• Schedule: 40 hours per week // 8-hour day shift with on-call //on-call from 8 am - 5 pm every other weekend, as well as two nights during the week // 2-hour min call back
• Pay Range for locals: $56.00 - $61.00 per hour
• Pay Range for travelers: $2,646.00 - $2,926.00 per week

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Requirements:

• State of Iowa license – required
• Registered Technologist (IR) through ARRT or RCIS – required
• Recent Interventional Radiology experience – required
• Experience with Siemens Excite CT scanner and Philips biplane – required

Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional radiology procedures using Siemens Excite CT scanner and Philips biplane equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including every other weekend (8 AM-5 PM) and two nights during the week, with a 2-hour minimum call-back.
• Maintain compliance with ARRT or RCIS certification and obtain an IA license by the start date if applicable.
