Job Title: Certified Radiologic Technologist (Contract)
Location: 1200 Pleasant Street, Des Moines, IA 50309
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Certified Radiologic Technologist to join the team at UnityPoint Health. The role involves operating a variety of imaging equipment, including general x-ray, portable x-ray, surgery/OR, and trauma/ER imaging. Proficiency in using a C-arm for imaging during surgical and endoscopic procedures is essential. The position may require floating to other facilities, including ILH and MW hospitals. This is a rotating position, and the candidate will be expected to work in different areas, including fluoroscopy.
Requirements:
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- IA State license (must be obtained quickly)
- Recent travel experience (within the last year)
- Large hospital experience preferred
- Ability to float between multiple locations
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient care
