Job Description
A Respiratory Therapist evaluates and treats patients with breathing disorders or lung diseases. The primary responsibilities include:

- Educating patients on breathing techniques and providing guidance on managing their respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for:
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising physician.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must:
- Hold a degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Hold current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a critical care unit.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
