Position Overview :
Pride Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Scrub Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team in Wenatchee, WA. This is a 40-hour per week, 13-week contract position offering guaranteed hours. This is an excellent opportunity for scrub techs with specialized experience in Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, and Retina to provide high-quality support in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the operating room by preparing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments and tools.
- Support surgeons by anticipating their needs during procedures, providing instruments, and managing sterile fields.
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning and prepping surgical sites.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Assist in documentation and recording of surgical counts, medications, and other relevant information.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the smooth execution of surgeries, including orthopedic, ophthalmology, and ENT procedures.
