Pride Health is hiring a Sonographer to support our client’s medical facilityin Milwaukee, WI. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
- Location: Milwaukee, WI - 53226 with floating requirements in Downtown Milwaukee
- Job Type: Contract
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Specialty: OB-GYN //Potential to rotate to Maternal Mobile Clinic- up to 2 days a week, and transport to different locations in downtown Milwaukee
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (NO WEEKEND OR CALL) 8 hours shifts with varying start times from 7 am to 8 am and shifts ending between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm
- Pay Range for locals: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour
- Pay Range for travelers: $2,740.00 - $3,084.00 per week
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
Requirements:
- Must be proficient with ultrasound equipment and have basic knowledge of patient care equipment – required
- Maternal-fetal medicine experience – required
- Graduate of or a student in a program accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE) or Canadian Medical Association (CMA), that specifically conducts programmatic accreditation for diagnostic medical Ultrasound/Sonography – required
- ARDMS-registered in OB/GYN (OB) and Fetal Echo (FE) – required
- Certified in Nuchal Translucency (NT) and Cervical Length (CLEAR) – required
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) – required
- One year of current clinical experience – preferred
- Familiarity with McKesson PACS, Epic EMR – preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Ultrasound/Sonography – preferred or Substantial training and current clinical experience with ARDMS registry
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound procedures, including Doppler studies, biophysical profiles, Level 2 ultrasounds, and anatomy surveys.
- Assist with invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and consult with perinatologists on findings.
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound rooms, equipment, and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Enter exam details into the database, maintain patient records, and help train new ultrasound technicians.
