Pride Health is currently hiring a Lab Accessioner to join our healthcare team in the Earth City MO area. This is a contract position with the potential for extension, offering an excellent opportunity to work with a top-tier healthcare organization.
Position Overview:
Location: Earth City MO
Schedule: 3:30 pm-12:00 am CST Monday-Friday, rotating Saturdays 4 pm-8 pm
Compensation: $17.00/hr - $18.00/hr (based on experience, education, and credentials)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with laboratory team members to catalog patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue) for analysis.
- Perform data entry tasks related to patient specimens.
- Receive and triage all specimens for clinical testing.
- Handle and process medical samples (blood, urine, tissue) with care and accuracy.
- Manage clinical information within the LCLS database.
- Utilize 10-key skills for accurate data entry and specimen tracking.
- Perform specimen tracking, packing, and shipping duties as needed.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure testing accuracy and compliance.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
