Job Summary:
We are seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will work in a labor and delivery unit, providing comprehensive care to patients during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods. Key responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blue or unexpected complications during delivery
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and vital signs
Requirements:
- RN License and current registration in Montana
- Minimum 1 year experience in labor and delivery or related field
- Strong understanding of obstetric and pediatric care principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
