What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Technician position at Pride Health?
Pride Health is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to support our client’s medical facility in West Bend, WI This is a 12-week contract with the potential for an extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.
Specific Duties:
- Performs routine tasks relating to the decontamination processing sterilization and distribution of instruments equipment and sterile supplies.
- Responsible for general operating and monitoring of cleaning/sterilization equipment.
- Maintains records in compliance with AAMI AORN Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must have Skills/qualifications/experience:
- Ability to read and write is necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions IFUs and complete required documentation.
- Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments is required.
- Problem-solving and good communication skills are required.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of Central Sterile coursework.
- CRCST or CSPDT Required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Shifts: Monday- Friday, Evening Shift
Hourly Pay: $26 - $27/ hour
