Shift : 3x12-hour shifts, either 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM or 10 : 40 AM - 11 : 00 PM, with weekend on-call every 5th weekend and weekday on-call weekly or bi-weekly.
Position Overview :
Pride Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist (CVOR) to join our healthcare team in Madison, WI. This is a 36-hour per week, 17-week travel contract position offering guaranteed hours. This is an excellent opportunity for surgical technologists looking to expand their skillset and provide high-quality care in a prestigious hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare the operating room prior to surgery, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
- Assist the surgeon and surgical team during procedures, providing necessary tools and supplies.
- Maintain the safety of the patient during surgery by monitoring instruments and supplies.
- Provide assistance in cardiovascular, endovascular, peripheral vascular, and transplant surgeries.
- Care for the patient during surgery, including positioning, monitoring, and assisting in any other way required.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to surgical procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the surgical team.
