Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms using ultrasound technology to assist in diagnosing heart conditions.
- Operate imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Current registration as an Echo Technologist or Cardiovascular Sonographer by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, with a focus on cardiovascular medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, even in high-pressure situations.
