Shift : 12 hour nights Description : Additional Information : Position Description : 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Care of emergency patients, age : birth to death, trauma, cardiac, respiratory, surgical, pediatric, stroke, general medical. Triage using ESI, assessment and identification of immediate needs, IV, cardiac monitoring, blood draw, administer medications, trauma resuscitation, codes, patient teaching, 2. Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)Cerner for charting with exception of stroke, codes, trauma paper flowsheet, level one, ranger, cardiac monitor, defibrillator, Omnicell3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Prefer 2 years ED nursing with travel experience but will consider other based on resume / references4. Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS5. Shift or schedule requirements
