Travel Ultrasound Technologist I

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Richland, Washington.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform quality control checks.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and any additional documentation required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Current ARDMS certification (RDCS or RDMS) in relevant specialty areas.
• 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
• Knowledge of ultrasound principles, anatomy, and pathology.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other medical software applications.

Working Conditions:

• 8-hour shifts, days only, with potential for overtime.
• 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.
