About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Richland, Washington.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions.
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform quality control checks.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and any additional documentation required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Current ARDMS certification (RDCS or RDMS) in relevant specialty areas.
- 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
- Knowledge of ultrasound principles, anatomy, and pathology.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other medical software applications.
Working Conditions:
- 8-hour shifts, days only, with potential for overtime.
- 40 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.
