Ultrasound Technologist

Pride Health is hiring an Ultrasound Tech to support our client’s medical facility in Sitka, AK. This is a Permanent/Full-Time opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Salary Range: $87,000 - $110,000

Sign-on Bonus: $25K | Relocation Bonus: $10K for qualified hires!

Overview:

SEARHC is a non-profit health consortium serving the health needs of Southeast Alaska residents. As a Sonographer at SEARHC, you will provide diagnostic imaging services, including ultrasound examinations for all body parts, ensuring high-quality patient care. You will work with diverse patient populations across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics, and be part of a supportive and growth-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations for a wide range of body parts, ensuring accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Exercise professional judgment, applying principles of radiation protection during procedures.
• Maintain patient records and files, and assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance.
• Provide care across various imaging modalities (General, Vascular, or Cardiac Ultrasound).
• Collaborate with referring physicians and assist with ultrasound-guided invasive procedures.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development (RDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, RVT, or RDCS).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the imaging department.
• Rotate shifts as required and assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education/Certification: Current ARDMS certification in at least one category (ABD, OB/GYN, RVT, RDCS).
• Experience: Ability to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modalities.
• Skills: Must be willing to learn additional imaging modalities as needed. Ability to work well in stressful situations.
