Job Description:
Job Title: Ultrasound Tech
Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Shift: 5x8 Nights (8 hrs) Tuesday - Saturday nights
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $3100.00- $3200.00 Weekly DOE
Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled ultrasound technician to be responsible for operating sonographic scanners to capture images of patients' internal organs and expectant mothers' developing fetuses. The ultrasound technician may specialize or work in a broad array of specialties including obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds, and neurological, breast, heart, or abdominal sonography. You may also assist radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedure and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment
Produce detailed diagnostic images
Detect obstructions, stenosis, aneurysms, and other vascular conditions
Specialties include:
OB/GYN
Abdomen & Small Body Parts
Arterial & Venous Systems
Peripheral Vascular & Cerebrovascular Systems
Qualifications:
2 years of General Ultrasound (US) & General Vascular (Vas).
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) license – Required.
Certifications: ARDMS (AB, OB/GYN) or CCI and BLS
