Job Title : Unit Secretary
Location : Paramus, NJ 07652
Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30), 36 Hours weekly
Duration : 6 Weeks with possibility of extension.
Pay Range : $25 / Hour.
Job Summary :
Unit Secretaries keep a specific department within a medical facility running with their administrative support. Assisting patients when they arrive at the department for care
Fielding phone calls to the unit
Scheduling appointments with the healthcare providers within the unit
Maintaining, filing and organizing patient records
Working with other departments to coordinate care services
Handling billing and accepting payments
Managing office and medical supplies for the department.
Reviewing and verifying health insurance
Skills :
Unit Secretary to make and receive calls on behalf of the Emergency Department's clinical team (including Emergency Department Physicians)
Education :
High School Diploma or GED
