Pride Health is hiring Specimen Processing - Forensic Processing Technician to support our client’s medical facility based in Lenexa KS 66219
This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location : Lenexa KS 66219
Schedule : Position is Monday- Wednesday 5am - 11 : am. This position is 3 days a week. Work Monday - Wednesday off Thursday - Sunday, back on Monday.
Monday, Friday and Saturday 5am - 11 : am. This position is 3 days a week. Work Monday off Wednesday and Thursday back on Friday and Saturday.
Pay Range : $17-$18.00Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Has a preliminary but functional understanding of the QTN Lab Information System
2. Sort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc) and work list
3. Completes Maxilog Data Entry
4. Understands and adheres to strict forensic practices
5. Capable of processing urine specimens for regulated and non-regulated testing independently
6. Adheres to company policies and procedures
7. Proficient with scanning / imaging all custody and control forms
8. Capable of discarding negative specimens
9. Performs flexilog on routine urine specimens at 70 CCFs per hour
10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Education : High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience : Prior laboratory experience preferred
Other : Able to sit or stand for long periods, Work in a laboratory environment and adhere to safety requirements, Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, Practical knowledge of computer systems, Commitment to Customer Satisfaction.
