Join Pride Health as a Medical Lab Scientist at Spokane, WA! This is Contract role offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Medical Lab Scientist
Location: 601 S Sherman St, Spokane, WA 99202
Shift Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 40 hours
- Shift Type: 8-hour Days
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $31- $36/hour
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Conduct hematology tests and slide reviews
✔️ Perform urine dipstick and hema glucose tests
✔️ Maintain a steady workflow, as patients arrive approximately every 15 minutes
✔️ Ensure compliance with CLIA standards and laboratory protocols
✔️ Use Orchard LIS system (training will be provided)
✔️ Work closely with patients, providers, and internal teams
Qualifications:
Education:
- Medical Lab Scientist (MLS): Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
- Medical Lab Technician (MLT): Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
- OR 90 semester hours including:
- 16 hours of Biology
- 16 hours of Chemistry (including 6 hours of Inorganic Chemistry)
- 3 hours of Math
- Plus 1 year of documented clinical laboratory training or experience
Certifications: ASCP or AMT (Required).
Experience:
- Hematology laboratory experience (Required)
- Experience with Orchard LIS (Preferred, but will train onsite)
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
