What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at PRIDE Healthcare?
Pride Health is hiring for a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Laguna Hills CA 92653 . This is a 6-month assignment with a possibility of extension and conversion into a full time, opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Responsibilities:
- Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
- Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
- Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
- Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
- Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
Education/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months to 1-year experience with phlebotomy along with specimen processing experience.
- 7:00am-4:30pm Monday Thru Friday with rotational Saturdays

Pay Range: $22 to $27/hr
