Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Detroit, MI. This is a Full-time, 06 months contract for Weekdays.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Phlebotomist to join the team in Detroit, MI. The Phlebotomist will perform routine laboratory activities under general supervision, including patient receiving, venipuncture, and computer data entry. This is a contract position, ideal for those with prior phlebotomy experience who are seeking a temporary role.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform venipuncture procedures on patients in a fast-paced clinical environment
· Accurately enter patient data into the computer system
· Provide routine laboratory support services
· Comfortable handling large patient volumes (30–60 patients per day)
· Use straight needles for venipuncture; butterfly needles are not used
· Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients
Qualifications:
· At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in venipuncture
· High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
· Valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver's License
· Ability to be insured by a HFMG Insurance Carrier

· Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
· Pay Range: $16 - $18 per hour
