What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant (PCA) position at Pride Home Care Services LLC?
We are looking for competent and compassionate personal care assistants to provide support for our clients in Helen, Georgia.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure client receives their medication on time
- Help client dress, bathe, eat. etc,
- Cook/prepare meals according to the customer’s restrictions
- Do light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Run errands and accompany to doctor's appointments, as needed
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Proven experience as personal care assistant
- Committed to health & safety
- Able to do light housework and cooking
- Well-organized and reliable
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Positive and compassionate attitude
- Strong ethics
- CPR and First Aid certified (online certification from NationalCPR foundation is not accepted by the State of Georgia). We will assist in getting the right candidate certified.
- Negative TB test (Test is valid for one year from date of test)
- Must be willing to undergo criminal background check
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
