Pride Manchester is looking for a full-time Treatment Program Coordinator (therapist). This position is committed to providing psychotherapy to Manchester’s residents and their families. This position is responsible to provide individual and group therapy to young children with severe emotional disturbances and to provide family therapy to the child’s family members during the child’s stay at Manchester House.
Duties:
Provide a safe, warm, responsive, and nurturing environment
Prepare Clinical Assessment regarding each resident at admission
Schedule and meet with families in family therapy to the benefit of the child
Complete accurate documentation of therapy session to meet licensure standards
Provide pro-active assessment of the children
Provide pro-active training of all team members in the implementation of behavioral support programs
Qualifications
Minimum of a Master's degree in the behavioral sciences related field. MSW or Master's in Counseling preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in direct mental health services with children and adults.
Preference given to experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances.
