The Child Care Program Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our child care facility. Responsibilities
-Develop and implement educational programs in accordance with the company’s mission that promote the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of children.
-Supervise and support staff in their roles, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and licensing requirements for child care facilities.
-Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the community to enhance program visibility and engagement.
-Assist with managing daily operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
-Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes for children.
-Promote a safe and healthy environment for children through effective policies and practices.
Job Requirements
-Proven experience working with students in an educational setting.
-Strong knowledge of OCFS regulations and policies.
-Strong background in education administration with an understanding of early childhood development principles.
-Maintain accurate records of program activities, participant engagement, and feedback for continuous improvement.
-Ability to educate staff on best practices in child care and early education.
-Experience in higher education teaching or training is highly desirable.
-Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with parents, staff, and community members.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
-Education in the fields of early childhood education or organizational leadership are preferred.
