DESCRIPTION / JOB SUMMARY
To support internal departments by moving raw materials and finished goods to set locations using RF scanners and powered industrial equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Operate a forklift to perform general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading material in and from storage racks and containers, to and from set locations, and delivering materials to designated areas in the facility
- Use RF scanner to document material movement in and out of set locations to ensure inventory accuracy
- Accurate loading of transport vehicles and ensure loads are evenly and securely placed
- Receive shipments and verify packages according to order, invoices, or packing slips
- Inspect deliveries for any visible damage
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Maintain accurate records
- Conduct physical material inventory as needed
- Notify Team Leader or management of any parts defects or documentation errors in quantity or quality of materials being received or picked out of locations
- Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
- Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, outside and around the building, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
- Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
- Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
- Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
