DESCRIPTION / JOB SUMMARY
To support the manufacturing process by moving raw materials to set locations using RF scanners and powered industrial equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Operate a forklift and / or a vertical lift to perform general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading material in and from containers, to and from set locations, and delivering materials to designated areas in the facility
- Use RF scanner to document material movement in and out of set locations to ensure inventory accuracy
- Accurate loading of transport vehicles, ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed
- Notify Team Leader or management of any parts defects or documentation errors in quantity or quality of materials being received or picked out of locations
- Conduct physical material inventory as needed
- Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and management in evaluating the materials systems
- Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
- Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training
- Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
- Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
- Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
- Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and / or assign other duties as necessary
