Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility based in Ithaca, NY 14853
. This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Location: Ithaca, NY 14853
Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:00am- 3:00pm, rotating Saturday's 12:30pm- 4:30pm
Pay Range: $19 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume
Responsibilities:
- Experienced in performing phlebotomy on diverse patient populations.
- Proficient in handling difficult venous access, including hard sticks, and skilled in collecting samples for urine and thyroid testing.
- Over 1.5 years of hands-on phlebotomy experience.
- Detail-oriented with a strong background in phlebotomy procedures and patient care.
- Competent in using computer systems for patient data management.
- Skilled in data entry and processing, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Expertise in managing challenging venous access situations (hard sticks).
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum 2 yrs of phlebotomy experience is required.
