A Growing Property Management Company is looking for a competent Regional Maintenance Supervisor in the Dallas/Houston TX area. The best candidate is knowledgeable in all areas of multifamily residential property management and maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, appliances etc. Candidate will have solid, hands on experience using tools required to inspect, repair and maintain building systems and maintenance projects. Supervisory experience including motivating, training, developing, hiring and working along side maintenance teams. Must be organized, detail oriented and able to communicate in English, both written and verbal.
This position is a hands on, multi site supervisory position that requires travel, troubleshooting maintenance problems, multi task all while maintaining company policies, budget and scheduling guidelines and ensuring quality standards and health and safety regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Multi - site supervision of maintenance teams process's and procedures while maintaining health and safety regulations and budget compliance.
- Inspection of facilities periodically to inspire, train and mentor maintenance teams, and review procedures and projects such as renovations, rehabs, turns and general maintenance and repairs to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- Troubleshoot and inspect building systems
- Participate and co ordinate rehabilitation,renovation and Cap X projects
- Contribute and monitor maintenance budgets and ensure compliance
SKILLS:
- Experience as a Successful Regional Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Supervisor
- Outstanding leadership, communication, interpersonal and planning abilities
- Experience and Understanding of budgeting and performance management
- Proven hands on technical knowledge of all building and maintenance systems and procedures
- Knowledge of all safety and regulations
- Computer skills specific to Microsoft suite
- High School diploma and or a degree from a vocational school preferred
- All professional certifications required such as EPA Universal, CMRP, CPO etc.
