Licensed Insurance Agent / Account Manager
Position type : Temp-to-Hire
Salary : $55,000 - DOE
Schedule : 8am to 5pm, M-F
Someone who has managed a smaller book of business is ideal.
Job Summary :
- Researching clients' current coverage and financial situation to determine their needs
- Creating customized insurance programs for clients
- Handling policy sales and renewals, and obtaining underwriting approval
- Guiding clients through the claims process, answering questions, and providing advice
- Keeping client records confidential
- Keeping up with insurance industry news and regulatory developments
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of insurance principles and selling techniques
