Our growing construction client in North Dallas is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a newly created role!
This role is located in North Dallas and will offer competitive earning potential ($80,000-$100,000) and a long-term career path!
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare Balance sheets, Income statements, statement of cash flows
- Payroll Bi-Weekly
- Review all balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconcile cash, credit cards and Health Insurance account
- Monthly Contract Schedule
- Review monthly job costs
- Confirm all invoices daily
- Group insurance, expense reimbursements, tracking of vacation time and sick time, taxation of fringe benefits
- Attain subs insurance certificates, w9s, subcontracts
- Handle all insurance audits, schedule preparations, premium worksheets and reconciliations, and adjustment journal entries to books
- Enter all fixed asset purchases and disposals into software, run monthly and year end depreciation schedules
- Preparation of WIP schedules monthly and annually
- Preparation of year end audit schedules
- Preparation of 1099s
- Create, review and enter all journal entries
- Any additional requests
Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years full cycle GL accounting experience
- Quick to learn new systems
- Experience in related industries (GC, construction/development)
- QuickBooks a plus
- ProCore a plus
- MS Office
