Duties & Roles
- Assemble valves according to job requirements as expressed by Management and on assembly drawings in a timely manner that supports the company’s posted Production Schedule
- Work with Engineering to perform testing & quality control of completed valves
- Occasionally consult with company president about trends in company’s manufacturing process
- Manage Production associates’s, polishing & bead-blasting of metal parts. Ensure the Production Associate is working according to the production schedule and is performing adequately and promptly.
- Crate finished valves and/or oversee the Production Associate’s performance of the same
- Load-in of parts and load-out of valves to freight carriers and/or oversee Production Associate’s performance of the same
- Maintain organization of warehouse, shop & polish room
- Work with Operations, Engineering and company president to identify solutions to various/occasional manufacturing issues
- Work with Operations personnel to maintain supply of shop and grinding equipment
- Perform specialized manufacturing/assembly functions & light machining of parts when necessary
- Perform check-in, evaluation and write-up of valves returned for rebuild/repair according to established procedures
- Perform periodic maintenance on various shop equipment * Perform specialized manufacturing/assembly functions off-sight at vendors when necessary
- Other tasks as assigned from time-to-time by company President or as may be required

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in managing assembly lines and factory operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Become familiar with warehouse processes and operations, including forklift operation.
- Ability to effectively lead teams and ensure efficient production workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety standards in manufacturing settings.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
