PrideStaff is currently seeking CNC Set up and Programmer for a manufacturing company located in Hemet, CA. This is a full-time, temp- to- hire position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (6:00AM - 2:30PM)
- Pay Rate: $33.00 - $36.00 Per Hour Based on Experience
Position Summary:
- Will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs using Mastercam software. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams and supervisors to enhance quality and process improvements and implement cost-reduction strategies in machining operations.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and optimizes CNC programs using Mastercam software.
- Collaborates with engineering teams to ensure accurate and efficient program development.
- Works with supervisors to identify and implement quality and process improvements.
- Analyzes machining operations and recommend cost reduction strategies.
- Troubleshoots and resolves programming issues to ensure smooth production processes.
- Maintains and updates program documentation and records.
- Ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Works from drawings, blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, and verbal or written instructions.
- Uses precision measuring instruments to check dimensional accuracy of work.
- Sets up and operates computer numerical controlled lathes or mills, determines procedures for setup and operations, selects tooling and configuration of tools and inserts, does editing and operating procedures in accordance with established instructions or guidelines.
- Creates CNC programs to produce product to meet the requirements of engineering drawings. Also works with Manager and team leader on QC.
- Consistently keeps internal and external customers highly informed as necessary.
Other Responsibilities and Functions:
- Operates powered industrial truck (forklift) to load and unload material.
- Maintains a commitment to teamwork and a positive, supportive attitude to all personnel.
- Helps train lesser qualified employees.
- Maintains clean, orderly and safe work area.
- Supports continuous improvement activities (VES).
- Regularly produces quality work and welcomes productive feedback to improve performance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience:
- Preferred Experience: 3 Years Programming CNC Machining Lathes or Mills.
- Preferred Education: High School, Vocational/Specialized training.
- Certification in CNC programming or related field.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with cost reduction techniques in manufacturing.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Mastercam Programmer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Mastercam software and CNC programming.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions, specifications, blueprints or work orders.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and practices.
- Ability to manage many tasks simultaneously.

Salary : $33 - $36
