Billing Analyst Job Overview

PrideStaff is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Analyst to join our Client's team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in accounts, and maintaining compliance standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Shift / Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Pay Rate : $26 / hour
  • Location : Bonita Springs, FL
  • Experience : 1-3 years
  • This is a Temporary position for 6-8 weeks minimum

Billing Analyst Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily financial activities, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Prepare and distribute invoices to customers.
  • Monitor and process incoming payments, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile billing accounts with the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate payment posting.
  • Expedite invoice payments through bill reminders and collection calls.
  • Generate financial statements and reports on accounts receivable status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Billing Analyst Requirements :

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience as a billing specialist.
  • Advanced Excel skills (tables, pivots, lookups).
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
  • Ability to gather data from multiple sources, calculate billings, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Sound judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP ONE or other accounting systems.

    • Education and / or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; OR 7-10 years of relevant work experience.

    • Industry experience in warehousing / 3PL or manufacturing is preferred.
