An innovative tech company in Aliso Viejo is seeking a Business Developer / Sales Executive to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding their market presence, and establishing strong relationships with potential clients. As a Business Developer, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of the company. This is a temp to hire position with a starting pay-rate of $52.50 per hour, plus commission. Once you are hired as a permanent employee, Salary up to $150K / year.
This position has potential for Hybrid and / or Remote work, however you must be able to commute to the office in Aliso Viejo.
Key Responsibilities :
Identify and research potential business opportunities, target markets, and clients.
Build a strong pipeline of prospects through various channels including networking, cold calling, email outreach, and industry events.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
Serve as the main point of contact for new and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies.
Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring the company achieves revenue targets.
Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
Provide insights to the leadership team to adjust strategies as needed.
Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, negotiate terms, and close contracts.
Ensure all contractual agreements are aligned with company policies and objectives.
Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product development teams to align efforts.
Provide regular reports on progress toward goals, business development activities, and market insights to senior management.
Contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s overall business development strategy.
Recommend new initiatives for growth and improvement.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a Business Developer, Sales Executive, or similar role.
Strong understanding of sales strategies, market research, and relationship building.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable strategies.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications :
A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Experience in Public Business Sectors, Hospitality, Healthcare is a plus.
Existing network of contacts in AI Technology.
