Business Development ManagerLocation : Solon, OH Pridestaff is assisting a client based out of Solon, OH in their search for a Business Development Manager. The BDM will be tasked with driving sales and growth initiatives for the company and developing customer relationships, primarily in the food and beverage industries. This role involves traveling nationally estimated at 70% of the time. Key Responsibilities : Primary contact to assigned and target customersEnsure timely communication and responsiveness to customer needs directly through in-person, virtual meetings, phone, text, and email.Effectively communicate the value of existing stock, new offerings, and custom capabilities.Perform audits to get to know your customer and gather product and marketplace insights.Schedule and conduct efficient sales calls, with timely written follow-up.Create and deliver impactful customer sales presentations to drive engagement and decisions.Provide regular updates on sales activities and highlights through weekly reports.Maintain and manage a robust sales opportunity pipeline in CRM tool, delivering consistent results.Accurately communicate forecasts and track performance against sales targets.Participate in meetings to prioritize opportunities and allocate resources effectively using the 80 / 20.Develop and implement growth plans aligned with annual and long-term business objectives.Conduct business reviews with key customer stakeholders to align objectives and update internal teams.Map out and build customer relationships with senior-level decision-makers.Stay informed about industry trends and competitive activities, sharing relevant insights with management.Provide recommendations for product development Key Requirements : Bachelor's degree.5 years of experience as a national account manager.Proven sales background with experience in value selling.Experience in CPG merchandising and point-of-purchase product solutions.Excellent sales, presentation, and negotiation skills.
