Job Summary:
Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
- Program CMM's and set metrology methods per best practices and/or customer requirements.
- Proficient in Calypso Programming Software.
- Continually improve and implement new programs and tools to develop and support our culture.
- Identify and develop process and equipment needed to produce specific products, parts, and components.
- Use the CMM to measure part dimensions.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Competencies:
- Use of Technology - utilizing metrology tools from handheld to CMM's. Zeiss experience is highly desired.
- Calypso software.
- Design - Blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, demonstrates attention to detail.
- Teamwork - Ability to work in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
