Construction Accountant (MUST HAVE WORKED CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING)
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, First Shift 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $26.00–$35.00/per hour
Location: Santa Clara, Ca
Experience: 2 years of Construction Accountant Experience

Job duties include:
Manage financial operations specific to construction projects, including job costing, progress billing, and contract administration
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for ongoing construction projects
Reconcile subcontractor payments and manage lien waivers
Assist in the preparation of bids and estimates for new construction projects
Coordinate with external auditors and participate in year-end closing processes
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes related to construction projects
Other duties as assigned
Preferred skills include:
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong organizational skills and self-motivation
Proficiency in construction accounting software (e.g., Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, or similar)
Requirements may include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Understanding of construction industry regulations and compliance requirements
Knowledge of construction contracts, billing procedures, and project lifecycle
Familiarity with job costing, progress billing, and percentage of completion accounting methods
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and construction industry accounting practices
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
